WOS Galerie Logo

In the summer of 2019 the three of us joined forces and founded the Gallery WOS. The abbreviation stands for Daniel Wahrenberger, Claudius Ochsner and Thomas Schafflützel.

Together we have more than fifty years of professional experience in the international art trade, with a focus on 20th century European painting, American post-war and contemporary art, as well as photography.

The first joint exhibition appearances took place in Salzburg, Luxemburg, Innsbruck and Karlsruhe. Participations in the art fairs in Basel, Cologne, Geneva and Düsseldorf are planned.

Gallery in the heart of Zurich

We have moved to the Oberdorf in Zurich! Be there at the official opening of our new gallery on Kirchgasse. Since July we are in our new location - with a romantic garden - in the heart of the old town, between the Grossmünster and the Kunsthaus. We are overjoyed to be here and would like to share this feeling with you. Over 5 days we will celebrate our move in together with you and give you the opportunity to get to know us and the WOS Gallery. Specially selected works from the entire program will be shown.

solo show art Karlsruhe

Daniel Spoerri

As a solo show at this year's art Karlsruhe we showed the group "Spieler" (soccer team) by the Swiss artist Daniel Spörri. One of the last 7-piece ensembles from the collection of Reto a Marca that is still completely preserved. A Marca was a close friend of the most important representatives of Nouveau Réalisme like Jean Tinguely, Niki de Saint Phalle, Arman, César and Daniel Spörri. The group was framed with works by Jean Tinguely, Niki de Saint-Phalle, Mimmo Rotella, Pablo Picasso, Sam Francis, Mark Tobey, Norman Bluhm, Karel Appel, John Kiki, Jules Olitski, Arman, César, Joseph Beuys and Jacqueline de Jong.
